We offer a wide variety of programming for blind and visually impaired youth which focus on career exploration and work readiness.

Summer Transition Program

The Summer Transition Program is focused on fostering independence skills in youth between the ages of 14 and 19. The program provides orientation and mobility skills (travel), rehabilitation teaching (cleaning, cooking, etc.), technology skills and career exploration. The group also explores many fun things that New York City has to offer like museums, bowling and more.

Pre-College - Class

Pre-College Program

The VISIONS Pre-College Program addresses the educational, socialization, recreational, orientation and residential aspects of the college experience for blind and visually impaired high school juniors and seniors. Workshops and activities are designed to serve the needs of the blind students as well as to assist in making a determination as to the potential success of the student as a college enrollee.
