VISIONS at Selis Manor
is an adaptive center that offers an array of services to adults who are blind and visually impaired. We are located at 135 West 23rd street between 6th and 7th avenue. We are accessible by train (F, M, C, E and 1) and by bus (M23-SBS). We are open daily Monday 9am to 7pm, Tuesday 9am to 7:30pm, Wednesday 9am to 7pm, Thursday 9am to 7pm and Friday 9am to 5pm. We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Health & Wellness
Our health and wellness programs are designed to get you into shape and feeling good about fitness and your overall health. We offer ZUMBA, Hoola Hoop, Hatha Yoga, Chair Yoga, Light Aerobics, Line Dancing, Cultural Dance, Pilates, Brazilian Dance and Drumming classes, Women’s Fitness, Co-Ed Fitness, Men’s Fitness, Meditation, Diabetes support groups, Health Talks, Fit for Life and Ab Blast.
Arts & Education Programs
We can tap into your creative side through our art programming! It’s a phenomenal experience and your projects are yours to take home or give away as gifts. We offer the following classes: EYES (Every Year Every Story),Cherub Improv, Photography, Ceramics, Jewelry & Beading, Knitting When the Sun Goes Down, Discussing the Visual World, Music & Culture Year by Year, Music Trivia, Watch Your Language, News of the Week Online and so much more!
Computer & Technology Training
Keyboarding Instruction, Introduction to IPhone and Accessible Apps, Beginner’s IPhone, Intro to Gmail, NLS book downloads and more.
Support Groups/Counseling Services
If you’re struggling with vision loss, family issues, job-related issues or just life we are here to support you every step of the way. Our groups are supportive and confidential. We offer Moving Forward, Women’s Empowerment and a Between Us Men Group. You can also choose to meet with a caseworker or social worker on a 1 to 1 basis for brief counseling.
Social Services, Benefits and Referrals
If you need assistance with food stamp applications, housing, referrals to our food pantry, find a home health aide, resolving issues with Medicaid etc. we can help!
We like to have fun and kick back here with talent shows, fashion shows, movie night & movie day (verbally descriptive), coffee house, poetry, plays and many other performances.
