2012 Prevocational Training Program

Who can participate?

High School Students, ages 16-21, who are sponsored by the NewYork State Commission for the Blind & Visually Handicapped (CBVH).

What is it?

Four-day program, where students explore careers, enhance professional presentation, and gain valuable job-related skills including: 

• Resume Writing

• Public Speaking

• Presentation Skills

• Employer Panel

• Job Site Visits

• Disability Services

• Life Coach, Guest Speaker

• Advice and Planning
