VISIONS MAKES IT EASY FOR EMPLOYERS TO HIRE AND ACCOMMODATE PEOPLE WHO ARE BLIND AND VISUALLY IMPAIRED. Here are just some of our services:

JOB ANALYSIS
VISIONS staff are ready to work with you to identify jobs within your organization that can be performed by people with impaired vision.

JOB ACCOMMODATIONS
VISIONS staff perform all needed job and task modifications – all at no cost to you. These may range from installation of large print or screen reading computer software, to provision of task lighting or magnification aids. Here’s a quick overview of some of the tools that are useful for people with vision impairments:

CANDIDATE SCREENING
VISIONS staff select and refer for interview, job seekers from its candidate pool who best match your organization’s needs.

ON-SITE SUPPORT
VISIONS staff are available on a regular and as needed basis to orient new employees to the physical dimensions of the work environment, to provide additional job modifications, to offer supplemental training or any other needed services.

FINANCIAL INCENTIVES
Employers who hire VISIONS candidate can enjoy the long-term services of a reliable and productive employee, and can also reap the benefits of state/federal on-the-job training wage subsidies and tax credits!

Reduce Job Turnover Costs – Research data show that workers with disabilities have higher rates of job retention then non-disabled people. Let us fill your high turnover positions!

On-The-Job Training Subsidies – Employers hiring VISIONS job candidates may be eligible for reimbursement of 50% of wages paid for up to 6 months.

Federal Tax Credits – A variety of tax credits are available to employers hiring VISIONS candidates. Employers can claim up $4000 as a tax credit for wages paid to newly hired VISIONS job candidates.
